Does Insurance pay for Assisted Living?
Most Americans do not have the type of insurance that pays for the costs associated with Assisted Living. Medicare does not cover the costs. The short answer is yes. While every community has their own policies, the general consensus is mom can bring her pet as long as she's able to take care of it on her own. That would mean food and water, and walks or litter box cleaning.
