Orlando Senior Transitions was founded by Josh Swanson with a single mission: to make one of life's most stressful transitions as smooth and supported as possible. We're not a national franchise. We're not reading from a script. We're a local, independent agency that lives in the same community as the families we serve.
Why Josh Started Orlando Senior Transitions
Most people only discover this industry when they desperately need it. A parent gets diagnosed. A fall sends someone to the hospital. The stove is left on one time too many. Suddenly, a family is facing an impossible question with no idea where to begin.
Josh Swanson understands that moment. It's the reason he started Orlando Senior Transitions in 2023 — to be the person he wishes his own family had when facing these decisions. Someone who knows the landscape. Someone who isn't on commission from just one community. Someone who will pick up the phone.
Based in Central Florida, Josh has personally visited, assessed, and built relationships with senior living communities across Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Lake Counties. He knows which communities have waitlists, which ones accept Medicaid waivers, which ones are best for active seniors, and which ones specialize in complex memory care.
His goal isn't to make a placement. It's to make the right placement — one you're still grateful for years later.
